Balenciaga meets high street

One of the most captivating pieces from last Balenciaga show has just arrived. To H&M.
This ring set, absolutely lovely as so minimalist, do not get out of my head since last September so, one more time, I'm astonishment with all high-street-fashion-low-cost-wonders.

Zebra crossing

Everything that might subtly mean wild, I'm in. Fashionabely (??) talking, obviously. Even more when it means wild animal prints (or just animal_ honestly, I almost died with that Givenchy cow print), cause I really believe it is powerful and strong and feminine.

But no. Today, I'm not in a leopard mood
Today it is a Zebra thing.

So, one more time, summarizing, I'm talking about black and white and, as you can see, such a strong duality couldn't be nothing more or less then perfection. And it really is.

1. Mango scarf; 2. Current/Elliott low rise skinny trousers; 3. Jimmy Choo sandals; 4. Mango emblished t-shirt; 5. Jimmy Choo clutch

Marble floor

It is, for sure, my fave print this season.

No flowers.
No stripes.

I wanna flowers and stripes. All together, please!!

Olivier Rousteing did it so well at Balmain and, thank  the gods of fashion, H&M translated this over budget version into a democratic one, financially speaking. But unfortunately I have no images from H&M collection, so go there and check it out!

Back to basics

Thinking about black basic heels. From Christian to Valentino, passing through Mrs. Miuccia. Perfect for a simple day work, white jeans and tee, or even a night out (both pants or dress included!!).

Black and white forever. Love it.

Tough choice, I guess!!

1.Valentino rockstud leather shoes; 2.Jimmy Choo leather pimps; 3.Alexander Wang; 4.Prada sandals; 5.Mango Touch leather sandals; 6.Alexander Wang shoes; 7.Christian Louboutin patent leather Pigalle shoes.

The blonde ambition

I should confess: I've kind of an obsession by blonde hair. My own is medium blonde(?!), but deep, deep down, I've a secret desire...  to be an absolutely (and totally cinematic!!) platinum blonde woman. There is Gwen Stephanie, a Daphne Groeneveld inside me. A Sky Ferreira.

And that's the point.
A couple of days ago, someone told me Sky Ferreira almost became a new Britney. I said, thank god someone as Terry Richardson appeared in your life.

Fortunately, a new pop star did not grow up, and a rock star model and cool it girl was born, instead. The model featured at Saint Laurent pre fall lookbook, photographed by Hedi Slimane.

Awesome!!

Round up

Finally got some time to take a look at pre collections for next autumn/winter.

At first, Giles (every single season, my passion for his talent is growing up more and more!!). And also such a stunning setting and a beautiful Edie Campbell in a new, and lovely, haircut.

Then, Stella McCartney, and another very inspiring collection.
Can anyone send me that striped blouse, pleeeeease??

By the way, is this kind-of-orange the next Burgundy? Just saying...

OUTFIT: Welcome back!

Well well well...
Hi everyone! Welcome back!!
How have you been so far? I've missing you....

A new year began, a new year will start tomorrow here at Scarlett (first anniversary!!!!!), xmas has gone (my fave part of the entire year), new collections coming, SALES (iupiiii) are here, well so much things happening and I was so far from here. But, you know, this is how the things are sometimes.

But it's time to move on and talk about what really matters: FASHION, indeed!

So I'm pleased to present two of the best purchases that I made in this sales season: a lovely militar inspiration coat at Mango and a-touch-of-farwest-Zara-boots that, I'm predicting, will walk plenty and plenty of miles. Just love them!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
See u soon (promise!!).
